First and foremost Wonderwave.net is your local community Internet provider. Wonderwave.net was founded by a veteran Internet consulting company that primarily works with multi-million dollar companies around Chicago. Those companies don't like excuses.

 Our first service was data recovery and we learned a lot about why things fail. This lead to a very thorough understanding of how to prevent failure and having a disaster plan.

 Our equipment is fault tolerant, redundant, and over-engineered. We monitor our servers 24x7 and have a 24x7 answering service. We have four mail servers at two separate locations. We also have 4 DNS servers that unlike Microsoft, are not on the same subnet, preventing the type of failure that occurred at Microsoft recently.

 We are very proud to host www.wonderlakelive.com, the only successful community portal that we know of. There are links to movie listings at local theaters, local events, & organizations, and a database of all local businesses. Newer additions include thecommunity calendar and message board.
